The 2024 Indomitus Rutilus is an unusual blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo and Grenache. I like how these grape varieties are working together – with plush sweet dark fruited Shiraz lifted by red Grenache touches and wound up with more spicy Tempranillo influences. Meaty and savoury flavours and enhanced by juicy sweet fruit pastille flavours. The tannin quality is excellent and helps to build a lengthy and finely tuned finish. Fascinating and delicious.
