Handpicked’s home site and a wine I always look forward to tasting each year. This is a beauty, soft raspberries and bayberries. A rose water attraction, both fresh and alluring. Some hardened grey rock and dusty, pebbly stones. There is Angostura bitters, some tangerine oil and a hint of musk. This is light and dainty on its feet but with significant staying power and intensity, sinewy tannins and a torrent of length acidity and red fruit focus. Pomegranate and rye seed spice. A wine for sipping and pondering, with great friends and an even better play list. This is a celebration for the good life, try this with mussels in the shell with bacon bits. Drink now or watch this continue to evolve and deliver even more detail over the next 5-6 years.
