What I love about the Collection wines is the confidence of showcasing an entire region in one bottle, not only do we see great fruit precision and a celebration of the organic sites but one could happily pop this down in front of anyone and say, this is Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir. So you’ll be treated to rosehip, boysenberry, red cherries and a cherry berry mid palate that stays put for long moments, some swirling coiled acidity and sandy tannins that prop up the fruit. Oak spice shows in white pepper, red gum bark and powdered cinnamon. Quality and utter enjoyment. Drink now or cellar for 2-4 years further. A lovely wine for speck and mushroom risotto.
