Hare’s Chase Vigilance Marananga Shiraz 2022

Share

Warm, rich, unctuous with a strong toasty oak component running deep, going hand in hand with ripe dark fruits and spice. This is quintessential Marananga Shiraz, the rich red, clay and sandy loam soils produce a natural opulence beautifully expressed here.  Lives large in dark plum fruits and blackberries and cassis and lashings of toasted baking spices, anise, allspice, clove and toasted oak backed by sturdy tannins. It is of a richer style which calls for further time in bottle and, when served, a dish that is also equally rich and generous.
