Heggies Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay 2017

This is five years old and yet it has hardly stated its journey. It is made with fruit from three Bernard clones which contribute to its complexity and layered intrigue. Regular lees stirring has also provided the subtle build-up of texture. Showing those primary white peach characters with a neat little toastiness complemented with a lively minerality. It’s precise and linear but with texture and palate richness.
