Henschke Stone Jar Tempranillo 2024

High, cool Eden Valley serves up a Tempranillo in full cherry fruit mode. Deep, spiced dark-berry, cherry fragrance surrounded in roses, dried leaves, rosemary, earth, spice. Both assertive and juicy, delivering a fine-boned structure in sinewy tannins, Stone Jar shows excellent line and length.  Earthy, leafy notes mix with red liquorice, spice, cherry pip dry on the palate, clean, too, before finishing with a sour cherry, light savouriness.
