Hesket Estate Jingella Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir 2025

Share

Jingella is an indigenous word of two potential meanings – a lush, green landscape or hello – depending on the context. To many, the lush greenness of Hesket’s Macedon Ranges location rings true.  Middle Eastern spices mingle on the bouquet with black cherry, plum, cranberry, dried herbs, Dutch liquorice and oak. It folds out on fine yet sturdy tannins on a taut palate with an enjoyable freshness through the finish. An undercurrent of smoked goods builds. It’s one complex, dense young Pinot worthy of more time in bottle.
