Hewitson Madame M Blanc & Blanc 2024

Share

And now for something a little bit different. Dean Hewitson has nailed together his personal experience and enjoyment of southern Mediterranean whites with a variety common across the hemispheres, Muscat Blanc à Petit Grains, which has been a traditional Barossan for the region’s entire history. Here it also gets a small dollop of Sauvignon Blanc which tends to assist in the wine’s mouthfeel and freshening acidity. Not surprisingly the rest is all about its Muscat character traits – floral, grapey, freshly cut apple, lychee and a touch spicy, light and fresh with a genuinely unique fragrant flavour attraction. Embrace it.
