Hewitson Miss Harry GSM 2020

Share

Traditional (if that’s a thing) Barossa GSM blend of 40% Grenache, 35% Shiraz and 25% Mourvèdre. Welcoming, comforting aromas of autumnal evenings with warming cherry and black fruits and crushed kitchen herbs. Licks of vanilla and black stone. Fresh sliced meaty Shiraz depth, smoke and earthy charcoal. Taking pretty much a favourites trifecta, this feels a touch blocky to start with before fine lifted action from the Mourvèdre gives a crushed loose leaf, A4 paper fragility to the finish, drawn into herbal, cherry action and a little plump raisin. Calling out for quickly grilled, smoky, charry things on sticks.
