A crimson/garnet hue, the nose has an array of aromas with dried herbs and spices, mushrooms, a little beef stock, cherries, aniseed, raspberries and garden vegetation. Even with the extra year under its belt, it is still a little reticent and we can expect this to have a long and exciting future. A wine of juicy acidity, medium length, sleek tannins and intensity for the full journey, it also offers a degree of finesse. Should impress for the next decade.
