Howard Park Flint Rock Riesling 2021

The 2021 Flint Rock Riesling is an each-way bet and while most of it will be enjoyed young, which it is well designed for, it also has the backbone to enjoy over the medium term. Pale straw in colour it is a gently exotic Riesling with an array of attractive citrus, mineral and pear fruits all packaged in a bright and clean style. The palate is then dry, crisp and compact more in the mineral and spice spectrum with impressive fruit focus and mouthwatering acidity coming together to provide good length. It screams out for Kingfish ceviche.
