Mt Barker and Porongurup fruit, dominated by the latter. Free run juice fermented in stainless steel. A very pretty nose of fresh bath salts, white soft florals, and lemon pith woven with gentle spice of nutmeg and white salt minerality. Phenolics and a bracing acidity is well integrated – shaped phenolics at that. Lime pith, lime finger, grapefruit pith, slight toast. This leans a little steely at times, and it’s a little straightforward, but there’s a gracefulness to the complete package.
