James Kalleske Wines Short Stories GSM 2021

The famous Rhône blend done Barossa style. Grenache dominant, the wine spends time in large format French oak. A deep regal red. This is an earthy style, and one can almost feel the warm Barossa soil slipping between one’s fingers. The aromas weave through dry herbs, mulberries, red berries, plums and animal skins on an attractive and well-focused palate. There are silky tannins and the wine has medium length. Generous drinking now and over the next three to four years.
