Jilyara The Williams’ Block Chardonnay 2022

Is it possible to get enough Marg River Chardonnay?  Seeing wines like this, I don’t think so. A very pale lemon hue, we have notes of cashews, quince, citrus and very gentle toasty oak, which is integrating well. Hints of stonefruits are evident and there is an intriguing note of a character reminiscent of lemon curd, which keeps poking through. Finely crafted, this is intense yet balanced and elegant. Showing fine acidity, good complexity and decent length, this is an attractive and complete Chardonnay. Enjoy over the next four to six years.
