Knappstein Ackland Vineyard Riesling 2025

The Ackland Vineyard is about to celebrate its 50^th anniversary since it was planted and over that time it has provided some superb fruit for classic Clare Valley Rieslings. It is situated in the Watervale sub-region. A negligible hint of lemon, otherwise the colour seems next to invisible. A fresh and pristine style, there is elegance here. Clean and lingering, with notes of limes, a touch of pear, white jasmine and some wet slate. Finely balanced with serious length, this is tightly wound and will easily handle another two decades in the cellar. Love it. A cracking Clare Riesling.
