From the Upper Goulburn region, the wine was whole bunch pressed and cool fermented. The free run juice was separated from the pressings, though subsequently returned after fining. A very pale lemon in colour and an intriguing style with minerals and warm earth to kick off proceedings, but appealing citrus notes to the fore. Attractive characters of pears then step in. This is fresh, clean and flavourful with decent length and a fine line of acidity. There is lots to love here and it would make great drinking right now with a plate of fresh seafood.
