Les Argelieres Pinot Noir 2020

Pinot Noir is generally the heartbreak grape for winelovers and rarely great value for money. But this French pinot gets close with an attractive mix of delicate red cherry and spicy fruits which are very approachable. It’s supple and fleshy too with more red berry fruits on the palate now lifted by touches of liquorice. It’s a solid effort and probably best with something a little hearty, such as coq au vin.
