Lienert Estate Barossa Valley Roussanne 2021

Share

This Roussanne joins a small but select band of fellow Barossa Valley Roussannes. It’s good to see Barossan belief in this often over-looked white grape which originally hails from the Rhône Valley. In keeping with the Lienert style, there is a streamlined, fine-edged winemaking approach here, one that highlights delicacy, subtle fruit and texture. A gentle weaving of apple, pear and citrus with a splash of spice works its way across the wine. Refreshing and bright with crunchy acidity, with time spent in both stainless steel and barrel, expect a pleasant textural mouth feel, too.
