A very dark maroon/purple colour here. The nose gives us concentrated notes of dried herbs, chocolate, plums, spices, coffee grinds, blackcurrants and dried fruits. Silky lingering palate, with a fine line of acidity and excellent length and balance. Delicious, and surely a contender for best value of the year. Now for the next ten years.
