Longview Vineyard Macclesfield Chardonnay 2019

A classic, and classically elegant, Adelaide Hills Chardonnay. Some early complexity already evident with stonefruits, peaches, oatmeal, tropical notes and a very gentle touch of oak. Grilled nuts and orange marmalade aromas lead to a seamless and supple palate. This is still quite youthful, although no one would complain if drinking it today. That said, it will be even better in 12 months thanks to a refreshing flick of acidity. It also lingers impressively and there is a minerally undertow – hallmarks of a very fine Adelaide Hills Chardy.
