Longview Yakka Shiraz 2020

A fine cooler-climate Shiraz from the Adelaide Hills. If you are after the big, bold, bruiser style of Shiraz, look elsewhere. This has finesse and elegance. A lovely crimson colour; the flavours weave their way through dry herbs, tobacco leaf notes, red currants and spices with a hint of new leather. There is juicy acidity here too, with focus and very good length. Fine, silky tannins so well structured and starting to show some complexity, this is a bit exciting. Drink any time over the next five to six years.
