Lou Miranda Estate Leone Chardonnay 2022

Barossa Chardonnay from a Rowland Flat vineyard, planted back in 2005. Fermentation and maturation were both in a combination of new French oak and stainless steel. A gleaming gold hue, this is full and rich, crafted in a slightly old fashioned style, but it is a crowd pleaser. Chalky backing with the upfront flavours moving through an array of stonefruits, nuts, mandarins, apricots and orange rind. A broader style than many with a supple texture. A wine offering medium length. Drink this now and for the next three to five years.
