This is a seriously good Pinot with immediate appeal. High tone aromatics – rhubarb, redcurrant and a hint of five spice offer perfume and allure. There is sappy texture, density and fruit concentration on the palate, with chewy yet beautifully integrated fruit tannin, from extending time on skins. The juicy acidity washes over the palate and maintains direction and focus. 12.8% alcohol offering balance along with subtle and supportive oak. Long and detailed. Just delicious!
