Marnong Estate Pinot Noir 2024

Fresh-tilled earth, raspberry coulis, strawberry, and twiggy spice lead to a subtle ferrous minerality. Fine-boned and lifted, the palate carries raspberry, cherry, nutmeg, dried rose, and flickers of earth gliding high through the mouth before grounding in firm-but-fine chalky tannins and red-fruited acidity. The finish is fresh, with admirable length. Lighter in style, not bursting with concentration, but fresh, bright, and layered with complexity well beyond its $25 price point. A job well done.
