Meerea Park Black Shiraz 2024

This is a classic Hunter Shiraz in every sense of the word which starts a little shy but then builds, and builds and builds with aromas of dark cherry, and sandy earth with touches of leather and very subtle leather tones. But it is in the mouth where it shows true class, weighing in at 13.5% alcohol with superb purity and picture perfect balance in a wine that dances like a ballerina. Despite the delicacy there is also strength with firm mouth coating tannins which hold an eternal finish. World class and Hunter Shiraz does not come any better. Get it, any way you can.
