Mezzacorona Castel Firmian Pinot Grigio 2022

For those keen to go right to the source and see what Pinot Grigio looks like from its home, this is a fine example. An attractive deep yellow colour here, the nose gives us crisp apples, stonefruit, apricots and a hint of pears. A taut, minerally backing, although the texture remains quite soft, with clean, bright acidity. This is a wine of medium length to enjoy over the next three to four years.
