Asks more of the Sauvignon Blanc grape than most, and it is delivered in a wine that combines textural warmth with a sweet herbal, zesty citrus intensity. Aromas introduce hints of the exotic in preserved lemon and ginger amid unmistakable varietal characters of gooseberry, passionfruit, citrus and sweet basil. The palate shows impressive weight and a flowing texture with light tropical fruit notes, citrus, herbs and passionfruit pulp, all bound in zesty bright acidity A layer of almond creaminess adds an extra level of interest before finishing on a tart, super clean, grapefruit pithiness.
