Mr. Deer South Australia Cabernet 2019

The label might be all ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’, but the wine is a thoroughly enjoyable, well-crafted example of South Aussie Cabernet. Deep maroon in colour, we have notes of blackberries, beef stock, soy and tobacco leaf. There are bright flavours here. The wine is of mid length and concludes with slightly decadent, well balanced tannins. Good intensity exists throughout. There are notes of coffee grinds on the finish too; a very pleasant red which does have a future.
