There’s so much to like about this wine from what was a very good vintage. It’s balanced, it’s poised, and it brings together a combination where the whole is significantly greater than the sum of the parts. Aromas of bright red fruits with a little sour cherry and just a little mushroomy, truffly character, adding further complexity. Palate has an intense luminosity and brightness about it. Still, there’s deep and concentrated power delivered with that final flick of acid to sustain its vibrancy through to a very long finish. It’s an excellent wine.
