200 days on skins and fermented in Amphora. Unfiltered. Encapsulated in a beautifully squat bottle, this is a citrine yellow hue in the glass. Glace pear, crystallised pineapple and peach cobbler come to mind. Notes of nutmeg, rum cask and autumn leaves. The palate is shaped by its waxy phenolic grip with acidity in keeping with varietal, lemon tea and bergamot make for a lovely finish to what is a wine made for entree, main and cheese course. Think along the lines of roast chicken and dippings. A tangible wine made with organic grapes and plenty of intrigue.
