Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Late Harvest 2024

Share

When life gives you Botrytis, grab it with both hands and make a delicious sweetie. We all need a sweet dessert wine in our lives especially when less, rather than more, are being produced, so, when we see a late harvest Sauvignon Blanc with its gorgeous scent and sweet ways, it’s time to pay attention. The aromas are a mix of spring and the exotic in ginger, jasmine, honeysuckle, green tea, dill, green herbs, citrus and passionfruit pulp. With 5% Botrytis, it offers just a gentle layering of Botrytis-inspired marmalade, an almost delicate touch, on a palate that offers an embroidery of citrus – lemon, cumquat and lime – highlighted with sweet honey notes and a distinctive lemon sherbet lolly confection note. Youthful and fresh, racy acidity offers balance to the sweetness. A little touch of sweet hedonism to enjoy with dessert.
