Yes we are pure Cabernet territory, no mistaking that on the nose and nor should we. Here you’ll find cassis, squished mulberries and poppy seed. Its dark spices provide a plethora of intrigue. Some pencil lead and cold tea tannins, it’s really quite straight down the line with fruit the focus and tight knit tannins ensuring it stands tall and mighty. This will age well and those cardamom and nigella seeds heighten overtime. Lots of character and built for another 8-10 years in the cellar. If you are opening it anytime soon, go with a pepper crusted steak, something with some bite and good flavour chew. A stoic wine.
