Nikola Estate Regional Chardonnay 2021

Winemaker Damian Hutton grabs his chardonnay from Margaret River, which makes perfect sense. Even more so when you consider how good this vintage was in Margs. Subtle savoury oak with a typical grapefruit and white peach stone fruit influence defines the nose. The palate really sets this up. It’s fine and linear with a degree of tension, yet it releases through to a very long finish. The penetrating flavour continues to build.
