Cabernet Franc from Mt Benson is not the most commonly encountered wine style in Australia, but this example shows it to be a combination which can work well. The colour here is a deep red. This is a fresh style, attractively balanced, with notes of cherries and raspberries. There are also hints of bay leaves and herbs. A silky palate of medium length with sleek tannins and good freshness throughout. Enjoy this any time over the next four to six years.
