Oliver’s Taranga Grenache 2020

Share

So many wonderful styles of Grenache now hitting the market – it can be hard to know where to look, especially in the epicentre of McLaren Vale which produces many of the nation’s best. This example boasts gorgeous appeal right from the get go with wafts of sweet morello cherries and berry compote plus meaty stock and earthy tones adding savoury lift. The party continues through a fleshy, ripe palate which displays dark fruits with a couple of shakes of ground spice well supported by supple, well integrated tannins. Bring on the pizza, with the lot.
