Sourced from Albany, this is a most impressive Pinot Noir. It seems to capture the season and the region. It’s light-bodied but with tremendous intensity. Floral, slightly raspberry and strawberry notes lead into a palate which is still quite tightly wound with a fine steely core, while supple fruit wraps around it. It’s a wine that will really start hitting its straps in another five years, but it is so impressive even now.
