Omrah Cabernet Merlot 2020

This is a real workhorse of West Australian wines, and in this quite warm and early vintage during COVID, it’s resulted in wine of medium weight, but terrific generosity and flavor intensity. The aroma has that vibrant blackcurrant plummy combination, with a little fruit cakey complexity. It seamlessly wound together and laced with supple fine tannins, and a gentle use of oak. It’s right in its comfort zone now for current drinking.
