Otro Vino Grenache 2025

Swan Valley fruit, 10% whole bunches, wild ferment, carbonic maceration, matured on lees in large format seasoned French oak. Good to see quality Swan Valley Grenache being recognised, and with ripeness on its side (14.5%ABV) it captures the whole ripe, cherry and plum approach of the grape beautifully. It’s a sunny, fresh, aromatic young Grenache showing its best right now. Spice, juniper, wild herbs and rosemary with a pinch of black pepper light up the red fruits on the bouquet.  The palate gives way to a long running thread of delicious cherry spiced up with red liquorice, musk confection, chocolate, woody spices and a peppery prettiness.  Good tannic grip to close.
