Panhead Custom Ales Lube Nube IPA

This is an outstanding west coast IPA from New Zealand brand Panhead Custom Ales, part of Lion NZ.  

Based on the supreme freshness at the time of tasting, I’d assume it is brewed locally by their Australian affiliates, Sydney-based Malt Shovel Brewery.

It pours bright and golden, with appealing dank, grassy tropical hop character.

On the palate it is chewy with sweet toffee malt and resiny hop flavour, but it finishes dry, with the high ABV deftly concealed.
