Parish Vineyard Pinot Gris 2024

A superb Pinot Gris from the Evandale region in Tasmania, the cooler climate has done wonders for this grape. The wine is of the very palest lime hue. A clean, fresh and elegant style, the wine is finely balanced and delightfully refreshing, while retaining intensity and depth of flavour. It offers a mix of citrus, pears and minerals. Good energy here, and impressive length with a persistent finish, this is a seriously good Gris and suggests that we may eventually see some of Australia’s best come from Tasmania. Bring it on!  In any event, this one is a joy and will drink beautifully for at least the next three years.
