For a wine that’s only $20, the P-Series Shiraz shows amazing complexity and is a delight to drink, hence the score. Tertiary characters of dark chocolate, leather and dried red and black fruits are starting to dominate, however there’s still some lovely, primary blackcurrant and mulberry and only a touch of vanilla. The tannins are fully integrated and the medium body and acid gel together nicely, making for a wholly satisfying wine that could be enjoyed as a Friday-nighter or for something a little more serious.
