Passel Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Share

Here we have quite a classic Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon which elegantly portrays its cooler climate origins as well as a strong varietal signature of the grape variety – cabernet fans will not be disappointed. Bright deep ruby in colour, it opens with powerful blackcurrant fruits with leafy/cedar and green olive complexity, oak sitting nicely in the background. That power translates onto the palate, although with a touch more restraint, and is then well balanced with firmish tannins which help to provide a lingering and attractive finish. It will probably be at its best in around five years, and perfectly suited to roast beef.
