Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz 2019

This vintage of Bin 28 will please fans of the style with good depth of ruby colour matched by an array of bright and fleshy aromas which immediately stamp this wine as a crowd pleaser. Already it is showing rich dark cherry, mulberry and blackberry fruits offset by touches of spice and eucalypt which add freshness and vibrancy. There is a delicious fleshiness and approachability to this wine and a plump mid-palate with jubey/fruit pastille complexity plus grainy tannins to provide backbone. The fruit finishes long and balanced with good generously and complexity which marks it as a good although not exceptional Bin 28.
