Fruit is from a single 40-hectare vineyard operation that brings together the iconic Dixons Creek Estate and the adjacent former Mandala vineyard, originally planted by the Henkell family in the 1980s.The base wine was made by pioneer Graeme Miller in 2010, 15 years later the dream is realised, disgorged in 2025, a whooping 5 years on lees. Canary diamond hues in the glass, the wine radiates with yellow plum, cut peaches and Meyer lemon. Butter and honey melting together with roast candlenut, dandelion and bee pollen. There is a base of biscuit crumb that anchors all the ripe fruit, soaring acidity and long lasting brittle and candied orange rind. Flavour flavour flavour and drive. This is bursting out the gates with confidence and providing class and sophistication in each sip. Drink now with Mud crab claws dipped in clarified butter.
