Petaluma PV Chardonnay 2022

This comes off an excellent vineyard in Piccadilly within the Adelaide Hills. It’s a finely crafted wine displaying an initial hit of lemon and nectarine on the nose with subtle, roasted cashew and chalky limestone beneath. The palate picks up those talcy characters to overlay the intense stone fruit richness. There’s a lick of acid on the finish which works with the new oak component to lift.
