In this vintage, slightly sweeter and more generous fruit characters are evident compared with the excellent 2023 release. A lovely mix of black and red cherry aromas combines with a liberal influence of spicy dried herbs. The palate is supremely balanced, with the clever use of older French oak creating a harmonious partnership with excellent fruit from a very good vintage. The result is a lovely medium-weight palate that is approachable, friendly and thoroughly satisfying. It’s everything you could want from this variety.
