Pikes Traditionale Riesling 2025

One of Australia’s most reliable wines, always good value and always brilliant quality. This is the 41^st release of this Clare Valley stalwart. It should be well represented in every serious cellar. The fruit comes from their own estate in the Polish Hill River sub-region and various growers across the Clare. 100% free run juice, which sees three months on lees. Always delicious young, it can be relied on to age and improve for many, many years. The 2025 vintage may be a small one, but it is proving to be of exceptional quality. Lemon/lime in colour, the nose offers a range of aromas including white jasmine, limes, spices, river stones and hints of grapefruit. Medium to good length, this is clean, fresh and well balanced. Expect it to provide fifteen to twenty years of pleasure, if you prefer your Riesling mature.
