The 2022 season in McLaren Vale turned out to be nigh on perfect, producing wines of elegance and charm, with stylish expression of the fruit. This is Cabernet, and it displays all of the dark fruit characters from the nose of blackberry and blackcurrant, with a lifted floral violet-like note. The palate is deeply powerful, yet it’s elegant and most stylish, with a smooth, seamless integration of oak and tannin supporting what is some obviously impressive fruit.
