Pirramimma Katunga McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Share

Matured in a selection of French oak for 3 years. This comes from a delightful vintage in the Vale. Blackberry pie, fig hearts and prune skin. There is a hint of thistle and winter pine with dark brooding spices of Kampot pepper, cedar and bitter cocoa nibs. Coffee and a trill of raspberry straps, this has a long flavour palate with wattleseed on the finish. Tannins are weighty but well woven into the fabric of the wine. This will be snapped up quickly for its drinkability but also the ability to age well over the next decade. A powerful and memorable wine. Drink with a hefty charred bone in ribeye for the win.
