This is a combination that is not often used but there have been some famous examples over the years. I do like the way the Syrah brings that subtle additional depth and intensity to complete the palate. It’s loaded with primary fragrant fruit characters, which dominate with their raspberry and plummy nuances. The scrumptious palate is most appealing with a subtle fleshy feel. Try it served slightly chilled.
